Michael Cortes Pro Films is a husband and wife videography team based in Green Bay, WI and traveling anywhere. We left Siberia a few years ago to settle in wonderful Wisconsin, enjoy the mild winters (no kidding!) and meet the kind of people you can only find in the Midwest.
We are avid readers, movie goers, visual artists and each other's best friends. We believe that great stories rule the world - and we can’t wait to tell yours.
THE TEAM
Michael is the mind and the creative force behind our films. He’s obsessed with visual storytelling, color grading and quality audio, and never misses a good reception speech punchline.
His alternative career is a sci-fi author - I'm pretty sure that’s his retirement plan.
Mike is equally creative as he is geeky: with a degree in engineering he (luckily!) fixes everything I break and keeps our gear up to date. Cats, hiking, long bike rides and road trips make him happy.
Also known as: watch enthusiast, sushi lover, amateur film photographer, and a fan of classic Apple devices.
Michael
Leyla is the second videographer and a really important member of our family crew. She is also the best assistant editor and the main coordinator in our team.
A former broadcast journalist, she happily swapped her spot in front of the camera to the one behind it and never looked back.
She's all about catching a candid emotion on camera (being short and pretty much invisible) so if you see a clip of yourself laughing in the moment, that's most probably her work.
Also know as: lifelong potterhead, tea lover, avid traveler, and Mike's partner in all things outdoors.
